This commissioned portrait was completed on a small "doll" table.  The top can flip down so it looks like an easel.  Or the table could be used as a buffet table serving tray!   This table makes a great accent piece. 

The portrait size is approximately 11 inches long by 10.5 inches tall.

 THANK YOU to the owner for asking me to paint "Carizozo".  I am honored.  It was such a pleasure to paint this gorgeous gelding with his one of a kind coloring and his "love of life" personality.

 This is a lovely little ceramic vase with a head study of a chestnut Arabian.   The vase is sealed with a protective waterproof sealer. It measures 7.5 inches tall by 5 inches at the widest part with a 2.5 inch opening.

This is a rich, deep burgandy leather covering a ceramic vase.    This is also one of my favorites!  I have always loved greys. 

There are two rows of tan stitches along both sides.

I applied two coats of sealer over the entire vase to protect it from the elements. This vase measures 15 inches tall by 13 inches wide.

"Regal Grey" has moved to the land "down-under"!  Yep, he was adopted by a terrific family in Australia that also love greys! 

This adorable leather frame measures 6.5 inches by 5 inches with an opening for a photo of 4 inches by 2.75 inches.  This is an English Loose Ring Snaffle Bit with black reins.  I applied a protective sealer over the painting to protect it.  It has a brown crushed felt backing with a fold out stand for display.

This is a leather frame like the one previously shown but this is it's western cousin.  The frame measures 6.5 inches by 5 inches with an opening for a photo of 4 inches by 2.75 inches.  This is a Western Snaffle Bit with brown reins.  I applied a protective sealer over the painting to protect it.  It has a brown crushed felt backing with a fold out stand for display.

 This fun chunky frame is black leather with a black crushed fabric backing with a fold out display stand.  This frame measures 9 inches by 9 inches and has a 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches opening for a photo.  This frame is about 1 inch thick.  A nice substantial piece that is great for the dressage enthusiast in your family.

 This is a large mirror with a shelf along the top and four coat hooks along the bottom.   I especially like the different perspectives of the two chestnut horses.  (The white cardboard corner protectors are still on in the photos.)

 The side panels where I painted the horses measures approximately 6 inches by 12 inches.

 I applied two coats of protective sealer over the painted areas.

 This is a wooden serving tray with a painting of a chestnut having some fun and getting his mane in the air!

I added a real leather braid along the inside of the tray.  This gives the piece a little depth.  The leather also gives the piece of glass a place to rest with out touching the painting.  I applied 3 coats of protective sealer to the whole tray and over the painting.  The piece of glass gives an added layer of protection to the painting.

The tray measures 13.5 inches by 10.5 inches.

This is "Silver Myst" looking rather intently at something off in the distance.  The lines of this vase are very graceful and work well with my paintings. 

 This vase is 14 inches tall and approximately 9 inches across at its widest part.

 This particular vase was won at a recent Silent Auction Fundraiser for  "Walking N Circles Ranch" an equine rescue organization in Edgewood, NM.   

"Silver Myst" is now enjoying life in the Manzano Mountains in New Mexico.

 This fun little filly appears on a wooden hunter green and tan coffee table box. 

 These boxes can be finished any way you would like.  I chose the green and tan to compliment the tan and cream colors in the palomino filly. 

I applied 3 coats of a protective sealer to the entire box.  The hinges on the back open to 90 degrees to guard against damage to the back of the box. 

 The inside is lined with a tan crushed velvet fabric.

"Goldie has gone to Colorado to be a cherished birthday gift for a horse crazy 9 year old little girl.

 This is a nice oval wooden coffee table box in a sage green.  It has a semi-circle latch in the front and 90 degree hinges in the back.

"Bobbi Sox" has been adopted by a  terrific family in Spokane, WA.  I guess we need to re-name this box "Electra"!  (the filly I painted on the box looks a lot like their "real" filly.)

I enjoyed painting "Desert Wind" on this beautiful leather trunk.  I have put a couple of the other pictures of me working on this trunk in the info column on the left hand side.  There are two coats of a protective sealer over the painted area of the trunk.

 This is a lovely wine box that holds two bottles of wine or cider.  I chose a bight bay with a soft butter color background surrounded by caramel color accents.

This picture was taken before the 2 coats of protective sealer was applied.  Sometimes the glossy sealer makes it difficult to obtain detailed pictures of the artwork.  

The box is fully lined with a crushed brown velvet fabric.  It has a brass latch, handle and two hinges.  The hinges are designed to only allow the lid to open 90 degrees, therefore, providing protection to  the outside surfaces from damage.  The wine box measures 14.5 inches tall by 8 inches across by 4.75 inches deep. 

My Jack Russell Terrier Supervisor "Corky Lou"  wants me to tell you that she placed the tennis ball there in the picture for artistic effect.
